The Irish Immigrant Arrivals transcript for Mary gives an age of 14 years which is a few years older than expected from her recorded age on US Federal census returns and her birth month/year of April 1838 recorded on the 1900 US Federal Census. Her death certificate records a birth date of 11 April 1836 or 1837 (the last digit of the year appears to be over-written).
