Key: - Where "abt." (about) has been used for birth and death dates and there is no source citation, these are tentative / unverified dates based on research to date.
- Where it has not been possible to locate a death record but an individual is greater than 110 years old, I have used a "Bef." (Before) date which is the person's birth year plus 110 years.
The initial data collection and family reconstruction for the Furmedge & Furmidge surnames recorded in the England Civil Registration Indexes and Census for the period 1837 to 1921 is complete. For some individuals data collection has broadened into other areas of the world namely: Australia, Canada, Channel Islands (Guernsey & Jersey), Ireland, South Africa and USA. Also, additional sources such as Parish Registers, the National Probate Calendar etc. have been called upon as needed.
Initial data collection for the variant Furmage surname in England (1837 to 1921) will start later in the year with the aim of uploading the first families in 2026.
