Notes

The baptism register entry for William records his father’s name as Jerome (not Jeremiah), a post boy. William’s death certificate confirms that his father was Jeremiah Furmage, post boy. The burial register records a burial date of 06 May and William’s age at death as one month - this places his burial prior to his baptism date. William’s death certificate confirms he died 04 June, aged one month. It seems likely that the month was mis-recorded in the burial register (the date preceding Jeremiah’s entry is for 05 May and the burial following that of Jeremiah was 07 July and so a date of 06 June would not be inconsistent).
