- Sarah’s surname is recorded as Furmadge in the baptism register. Both her and John McAleavey’s baptism records include a note of their marriage on 26th February 1927. A middle initial ‘B’ has been added (edited) to her name in the 1939 Register and the GRO Death Index and Liverpool Crematorium Register both record her given names as Sarah Bridget.
