The last will and testament of John Furmedge of Mapperton, Dorset, Gentleman was written 26th April 1834 and appointed Ann Furmedge (his wife) and John Furmedge (his son) as Executors. The will was witnessed by John Monteith, Bridport, Dorset; John Gray Budden, Allington, Dorset; John [Hodder], Bridport, Dorset. Bequests: (1) £1000 and his freehold property and land in Broadmayne, Dorset to his son, John Furmedge. (2) The remainder to her wife, Ann Furmedge.
