Notes

The last will and testament of Ann Furmedge of Nottington, Dorset, widow was made 15th April 1853 and appointed George Nathaniel Short, Lyme Regis, Dorset, Esquire and Charles Gosnell, Lombard Street, London, Esquire as Executors. All her property and personal estate were to be sold by the Executors and the monies invested and the resultant income divided with one half to her daughter, Louisa Furmedge, and one half to her daughter, Anna Martha Gosnell. The will was witnessed by J B Goddard, Lyme Regis, Dorset, Merchant and D Channon, Lyme Regis, Dorset, Clerk to Mr Goddard. The will was proved 29th June 1858 following Ann’e death at Lyme Regis, Dorset on 11th April 1858. (Source: digital image, www.gov.uk).
