    • George William Henry Stapleford was an Aircraftman 1st Class with the Royal Airforce Volunteer Reserve, based at Lichfield, Staffordshire. He was killed on 15th September 1941 when he was knocked down by a car near Blidworth Church, Nottinghamshire. He is buried at St Stephen’s churchyard, Fradley, Staffordshire.
