Notes

Both the Kingston Cemetery register (G/BBK4/9, Page: 13) and a death notice published in the Portsmouth Evening News (06 December 1892) name Ann Elizabeth’s father as George Furmidge however her death certificate confirms her parents as James Furmidge (Stoker, Royal Navy) and R. E. Furmidge (informant; present at the death). Ann Elizabeth was 4 months old at the time of her death, so she was probably born in July 1892. Cause of death is recorded as “debility from birth”.
