- Last Testament and Will of James Lasham Furmedge: son of John a native of Winfrith near Weymouth, Dorset and now of 7, Dorset Street, St Helier, Jersey bequeathed: one third of the residue of his personal property to be divided equally between his daughters Alice Rosalie Furmedge and Sarah Elizabeth Furmedge; the remainder to be divided as follows: one fourth to his son James Furmedge, one fourth to the children of his deceased son Joseph Furmedge, one fourth to his daughter Alice Rosalie Furmedge and one fourth to his daughter Sarah Elizabeth Furmedge. His two daughters were assigned as Executrixes. The will was made 26 December 1891 in the presence of Phil Le Bas and ?? Pallais. (Reference: D/Y/A/67/94, Jersey Archives).
