| Notes |
- In the 1901 England census Rosina E Furmidge is recorded as “separated” and living at 44, King Street, Gosport, Hampshire with four of her children (Class: RG13, Piece: 1012, Folio: 98, Page: 13). The Portsmouth Evening News published 15th March 1901 reported that Rose Furmidge of 44, King Street had been charged with pledging two [bed] sheets to a pawnbroker that did not belong to her. She stated that she was unable to live with her husband due to his conduct and had pawned the sheets as she was in “distressed circumstances”. She was ordered to pay a fine or 3 days’ imprisonment if unable to do so. No record can be found of her after 1911.
