  Annie’s date of birth is recorded as 28 Sep 1901 in the 1939 Register and as 28 Dec 1899 in the GRO Death Index. Her birth was registered in Oct-Dec 1899 confirming that she was born in 1899, not 1901. If she had been born 28 Dec then it is more likely her birth would have been registered in the Jan-Mar quarter of 1900, suggesting that 28 Sep is correct.
