    • Anthony John James Furmage joined the Oxford City Police Force on 06 August 1889 and retired on 02 June 1921. He joined as a Police Constable, was promoted to Sergeant [date unknown] and then to Inspector in 1913. He retired on an annual pension of £233 8s 3d.
