Neither Edgar nor Matilda Elizabeth are enumerated at this address in the 1901 England census nor can they be located elsewhere (1901 England census entry for 27, Frederick Gardens, Brighton, Sussex: Class: RG13, Piece: 930, Folio: 16, Page: 23). Edgar’s 1903 death certificate also records his address and place of death as 27, Frederick Gardens, Brighton; the informant is M. E. Gill, widow of the deceased.
