  • Notes 
    • The last will and testament of John Roberts Furmedge, Esquire, of Broadmayne, Dorset (but residing at 44 Bouverie Square, Folkestone, Kent) was made 16th September 1918, assigning his son John Harris Furmedge and daughter Anne Helen Furmedge as Executors. His estate both real and personal was bequeathed to John Harris Furmedge (son) & Anne Helen Furmedge (daughter), to pay the income of his residuary estate to his wife (Lucy Wilmer) for life and afterwards in trust for his children in equal shares. The will was witnessed by Albert Charles Cox, County Offices Dorchester, Clerk and Charles Henry Hyde, County Offices Dorchester, Clerk. John Roberts Furmedge died 17th February 1928 and his will proved 14th April 1928, his address given as 126, Sandgate Road, Folkestone, Kent. John Harris Furmedge is recorded as residing at 111, Baker Street, Marylebone, Middlesex, his occupation, Land Agent. Ann Helen Furmedge was residing at “Langdon”, Prince of Wales Road, Dorchester, Dorset, a spinster. (Source: Will obtained from www.gov.uk).
