  Frances married Arthur E Bowler in 1943. It is assumed from the GRO Marriage Index entries that she was a divorcee at the time of her marriage to Frank James Furmedge (entries appear in the Index for both ‘Frances A Milford’ and ‘Frances A Bowler’). Her date of birth recorded in the 1939 Register is 04 Dec 1916; whereas 04 Dec 1915 is recorded in the GRO Death Index. From a review of the GRO Birth Index her birth appears to have been registered in Jan-Mar 1916, making a birth date of 04 Dec 1915 more likely.
